The Reckoning: Women Artists of the New Millennium

The Reckoning, a new book by the authors of After the Revolution (Eleanor Heartney, Helaine Posner, Nancy Princenthal, and Sue Scott) focuses on a group of contemporary women artists who have found success in the traditionally male dominated art world. The book spotlights the achievements of 24 international women artists who were born since 1960. While discussing the works of these women artists, the authors target issues of gender and race.
