Familiar faces at the NPN/VAN Annual Meeting!

As a partner of both the National Performance Network (NPN) and the Visual Artist Network (VAN), Women & Their Work attended the annual NPN meeting in Philadelphia this past weekend. Philly, Yo! Over a hundred arts organizations that partner with NPN and VAN from all over the world came together for workshops, networking, meetings and artist performances and presentations.

In the last year, our partnership with these organizations brought both Emily Lacy, who performed during the Fusebox Festival, and Leticia Bajuyo, our visiting national artist whose summer installation at the gallery, Event Horizon, garnered plenty of attention.

Leticia was chosen also to install a smaller version of her incredible CD, fishing line and Hula Hoop structures at the Asian Arts Initiative in Philadelphia as part of the conference. Always fun seeing artists traveling with their work!
