“The Problem With the Whitney Biennial” & Herb Tam’s “My Whitney Biennial”

In reaction to the lack of female and minorities presence in the list of artists for the upcoming Whitney Biennial, Herb Tam ( Curator / Director of Exhibitions at the Museum of Chinese Art in New York City) compiled his own imaginary list of artists for a Whitney Biennial that “would bring forth identity politics.” You can read more about his concept and check out the full list of artists on his blog and Kathleen Massara’s reaction on the Huffington Post blog.
