We here at Women and Their Work have gone a little crazy for the World Cup. We’ve taken to talking shop in the gallery, scheduling our lunch breaks around games and trying to guess who’s going to make it out of the group stage alive. Our appreciation for sports, competition and international culture is on overdrive for the next month.
Wieden & Kennedy, the advertising agency behind Nike’s Write the Future World Cup campaign are giving us all the more reason to appreciate it, introducing some of the most creative promotional materials in recent memory. Each (extremely) limited edition box comes loaded with six international soccer stars forever preserved in wax – but not the kind you may be thinking.
