100 Records

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, Okay Mountain will be holding its opening reception for Sonny Smith: 100 Records. Smith, who is an artist, musician and playwright, created 100 fake bands, recorded 200 real songs, then invited 100 artists to take on the covers for these records. An incredible concept with a prolific amount of work, this show will not only display the album covers, but will also feature the songs recorded on an in-house jukebox. Featuring work by William T. Wiley, Mingering Mike, Chris Johanson, Reed Anderson, Jo Jackson, Harrell Fletcher, Chris Duncan, Tucker Nichols, Paul Wackers and our very own Lisa Choinacky.

Sonny Smith: 100 Records will run from June 5 – July 3.
Opening Reception: Saturday, June 5 from 7-10 pm.
