Four Teaching Artists Positions Open
Teaching Artist Positions: Teaching artists in dance, visual art, music and drama are wanted for a ground breaking, in-depth arts integration program between a new elementary school in Manor and Women & Their Work Gallery. Applicants must have education experience as well as an in-depth understanding of artistic discipline. Please submit resume, teaching artist statement indicating artistic discipline and why this program is important, and one arts-based lesson plan for a core subject ie: math, science, reading, social studies.
2007/2008 school year ($20 per hour plus mileage,10 hours a week for 20 weeks).
