Through the ARTroduction to Austin competition, Hanger Orthopedic Group is providing an opportunity for area artists, especially new and emerging local talent, to display their skills and further their careers. The artist selected through the competition will receive a $10,000 Hanger Commission Award, and his or her art will be displayed in the gallery space at Hanger headquarters at The Domain for approximately two years before being auctioned off to support a local nonprofit organization.
Deadline for submissions is October 19, 2010. Hanger will host open houses on August 31 and September 8. Get the full competition details here.
