“‘Natural’ has become a confused idiom in our culturally redefined habitat. Disasters that could once be attributed to the forces of nature are now, more often than not, attributed to human intervention in ways that are anything but ‘natural’. This exhibition includes works by artist from across the county as well as from Mexico and Vienna, Austria, whose works grapple with how this phenomena is transforming the very definition of what is ‘natural’. Works include video, digital photography, painting and sculptural installation.”
